The 530 is a new entry-level addition to the Claas small Torion articulated wheel loader range, while the larger 535 and 639 models benefit from more power.
Extending the range to three models, the Stage V Yanmar four-cylinder 2.2-litre engine in the 530 generates 46hp. With an articulated tipping load capacity of 3.0t, the parallel-guided Z-kinematics of the conical mast allows for a bucket pivot point of 3.18m to be dumped over heights of up to 2.82m and maximum reach of 1.46m. The mast and attachment are joystick operated. Alternatively, the two additional control circuits can be controlled using an additional lever or push button.
Updates to the 535 and 639 include a more powerful 75hp Yanmar 2.1-litre block, which like the 530, meets Stage V emissions using a DPF and DOC, without SCR.
Available with either standard or High-Lift Z-kinematics, the high lift option on the 535 and 639 stretches the maximum lift height to 3.54m. The top speed of the hydrostatic transmission is 20km/hr (530) and 30km/hr in the two larger models.
The redesigned cab is said to provide more storage compartments and good all-round visibility. The glass entry door and the right window can be opened by 180 degrees and locked. Other notable in-cab features include the adjustable steering column, suspended seat, air conditioning, A-pillar display unit and a control panel next to the right armrest.
As an option, the cab roof can be fitted with halogen work lights or up to eight LEDs.
