Containing a 2,923m² warehouse and a two-storey office building, the new and more strategic location in Dublin not only boosts the company’s role as exclusive partner of Yokohama Off-Highway Tires’ Alliance brand, but also provides more space to meet the high demand for the Agri Star II tractor tyre.
“We invested over €3.5m and chose a strategic location with access to the major arterial routes,” says marketing director Michael Rosenthal of Kirkby Tyres. “This puts us in the comfortable position to serve our customers in all geographical areas of Ireland, with a markedly extended stock and further enhanced customer services.”
Kirkby Tyres was the first ever export customer of Alliance in 1967. Today, it reckons to be the UK’s and Ireland’s largest and most comprehensive distributor of off-highway tyre and wheel solutions.
The company recently expanded the warehouse at its Liverpool headquarters. When added to the new Irish warehouse, the company stocks 100,000+ tyres and wheels.
