AGCO subsidiary Precision Planting has agreed to acquire the business and assets of precision harvesting solutions manufacturer Headsight.
Established in 1998, Headsight is best known in North America for its combine harvester header height sensing technologies.
Integrating with existing combine circuits, the system provides automatic height and tilt control in a wide range of different crops. The technology can be installed on most combines and headers made in the past 30 years.
Headsight also makes row guidance systems for combines and self-propelled sprayers. It is envisaged that the company will continue to operate from a facility in Bremen, Indiana.
