Amazone has added two rigid models to its trailed Ceus disc harrow combination cultivator line-up. The 3000-TX (3.0m) and 4000-TX (4.0m) are aimed at smaller farms with tractors from 150hp.

Like the larger 5.0-7.0m models, the newcomers are suitable for both stubble and primary soil tillage, deep loosening and seedbed preparation.

Designed to work at speeds up to 15km/hr, straw, stubble or cover crops are shredded by the leading set of smooth or serrated discs. The residue is then mixed by the tine segment and a selection of different C-Mix shares are available.

Tine spacing is 40cm and working depth can be adjusted down to 30cm (hydraulic depth adjustment option). It is also possible to work shallower, so that the point runs just below the working depth of the disc harrow in wet and heavy conditions to reduce the risk of capping.

The tine segment is followed by a set of levelling tools, which can be equipped with smooth or serrated discs or spring tine levellers. The height and inclination of the side discs can be adjusted separately to match up bouts.

Equipped with central running gear, different rollers and rear harrows are available for final reconsolidation.
