While the average horsepower in the UK has risen to over 170hp, there is still a healthy demand for the versatile 120hp tractor, a jack of all trades on many farms. To see which is best, four magazines from Scandinavia and the Netherlands mustered seven different marques (see the table for ‘Technical data and prices’ on page 15 for who and what) and evaluated their performance in 15 different categories, as outlined in the graph on the opposite page.
