Cleaning In Place (CIP), a feature of the latest version of Haith’s root vegetable polisher, allows the operator to set the time when the unit is cleaned by the detergent dosage system to prevent bacteria from building up.
CIP is complemented by an upgraded zero slip barrel drive system, an air-operated discharge door with finger-tip control and taper locks on all drive components.
Suitable for polishing potatoes, carrots, parsnips, beetroot and celeriac, the polisher retains the automatic washdown, improved barrel drives, upgraded slip ring, externally mounted copper split bearings and the optional water flume bypass for handling loose skin potatoes which were introduced on the 2020 model.
Available with either 14m x 3.0m or 18m x 3.5m patented direct drive brush rollers, both versions come with a two-year warranty on non-wearing parts.
Incorporated as a limited company in 1964, Tickhill Engineering, which trades as Haith, manufactures a range of grading, washing, bulk handling, weighing, pre-pack systems and water treatment solutions.
