Combining various seed drills with different soil engaging implements and rollers is now extremely easy, fast and flexible, says Amazone, thanks to the new QuickLink quick coupling system.
Integrated into several of the company’s drills and tillage implements, the quick coupler, which comprises three easily accessible coupling points, allows the latter to be safely removed in just a few minutes without the need for tools. This allows the implement to work on its own to prepare a seedbed, while the drill can be mounted on another QuickLink enabled implement.
Available for the Cataya conventional and Centaya pneumatic seed drills, the quick coupling system is also offered on the AD conventional harrow-mounted drill, which can be combined with the KE rotary harrow or a KG or KX rotary cultivator.
After using the KG or KX rotary cultivators in cereals, QuickLink allows them to be quickly and easily combined with the Precea harrow-mounted precision drill to combine seedbed preparation and maize drilling.
