In the UK and Ireland, the Fella name has largely disappeared, with the company’s Juras twin-rotor centre swath rakes now marketed as the Massey Ferguson RK or Fendt Former. Colours, decals and model number aside, all rakes in this family share the same build, however, and with it should also carry a similar price tag second hand. As these rakes share a common ancestry with earlier Fella incarnations, used buyers should have plenty of choice
First produced as the TS781 Hydro in 1990, Fella twin-rotor centre swath rakes evolved to cover operating widths from around 5.8 to 10.00m (see the model table for a full breakdown of the range). The Fella tie up with AGCO initially dates back to a 2009 marketing agreement, ACGO subsequently buying the company in 2011. Originally imported into the UK by RECO, Fella branding was dropped in UK from around 2016 when RECO shut up shop. In markets where the brand is still sold, Fella branded kit is finished in red like Massey Ferguson. What is underneath is the same too, be the rake branded as a Fella Juras, Massey Ferguson RK or Fendt Former. For simplicity, the Fella Juras name will be used from now on.
